The Brazilian National Team is already on Cuiabá soil. Among those called up by coach Fernando Diniz is midfielder André, from Fluminense, who received another opportunity to represent the Amarelinha team during October’s FIFA Date, which runs until the 17th of this month.
In a press conference held this Tuesday (10), the player commented on the first games of this new cycle and the strategies to guarantee victory in the next duels.
“Bolivia and Peru didn’t put so much pressure on us. Against Venezuela, I also believe they won’t go up to pressure. Against Uruguay, I believe it will be the most difficult game, even more so at their home ground. Diniz will implement his way of playing on these days according to what the athletes feel comfortable with. We will try to get closer to Ederson to play and try to make their team score high and leave space at the back.”

“Our team has the best players, a lot of quality, and with his style of lots of ball possession. Every player will have their opportunity to shine. I think there’s no way Brazil can go wrong. When everyone has more time, some time With longer work and everyone getting along, I’m sure the fans will see a lot of shows and be very happy to see Brazil.”
André took the opportunity to comment on his good relationship with his teammates and highlighted the daily learning he has with his more experienced teammates.
“It is very satisfying to be here always competing with the best in the Brazilian team. Casemiro has been, in recent years, a ‘top-1’ player in Europe, in the best competitions, so every time I come to the national team, I learn a lot. I try to learn movements and the marking part too. He is the player who most resembles me in the first midfielder position. Not only him, but also Bruno Guimarães, who has had excellent performances over the last two seasons. I try to look at them to follow the same path.”
Next Thursday (12), Brazil has a scheduled clash with Venezuela, at 9:30 pm, at Arena Pantanal, in Cuiabá. Afterwards, the group leaves for Montevideo, Uruguay, to face the home team on the 17th.
Brazil has six points on the World Cup Qualifiers leaderboard, and is in the lead, followed by Argentina.
