Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has expressed confidence in the return from injury of his Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior.
The latter injured his right leg during the match against Celta on August 25. Initially away from the field for a period of around six weeks, Vinicius could ultimately make his return earlier than planned according to his coach.

In a press conference, Ancelotti said that the player’s recovery was going very well and that he was gradually increasing his workload. “I think he will be able to start working with the team again next week,” he assured.
The Italian was even optimistic about a possible early return of Vinicius, believing that he could be restored before the six weeks initially announced.
If the Real Madrid coach wants to be reassuring for his Brazilian striker, he also indicated that French full-back Ferland Mendy was still not fit to return to the group after his own injury.
Ancelotti is therefore counting on the rapid recovery of Vinicius to once again have an offensive solution of choice.
