The Women’s Team ended 2023 with a bang! In their last friendly of the year, the team confirmed the work recently begun by Arthur Elias with a 4-0 victory. Scorer of the last goal of the match, Aline Milene was moved when she was grateful for the opportunity given by the coach.
“I am really happy! I was away for four days because of Covid, three years out of a call-up and I had a great opportunity given by Professor Arthur. I was very happy to be able to score a goal and help the team. This is Brazil, let’s look for it and let’s work.”

The player reinforced that one of the main objectives of the current coaching staff is to regain the confidence and strong mentality of the national team.
“We have been trying to regain that confidence, regain our Brazilian roots and reach the winning mentality of looking for that star that we have been waiting for at every moment. I think Arthur’s work has everything to be successful, the work is being done, the girls are buying into the idea and that’s what matters.”
