After a good debut season with Swansea City, Ronald returns to the club for his second year

Back after a vacation period in Brazil, striker Ronald Pereira has already reported back to Swansea City, a team that will fight for promotion to the Premier League and currently plays in the EFL Championship (English Second Division). The athlete spoke about this return.

“It was great to enjoy the vacation period with my family back in my hometown of Corumbá. But now I’m also very happy to be back at Swansea. Focus a lot on our preparation for the season. It’s an honor to play for this club and it was great to see my teammates again,” he said.

In his first season with the Welsh club, Ronald made 18 appearances for the club, 17 as a starter, and scored three goals. The player has good spells with Guarani and Atlético-GO, as well as a highlight at Estrela Amadora in Portugal, where he played 55 games in a season and a half. The player also commented on the expectations in his second year at the club.

“This year we are thirsty for victories. We will seek promotion at all costs. I adapted well to the team and the city and I believe this will be an even better season, both individually and collectively. I’m sure we’ll give our fans a lot of joy,” he revealed.
