Adriana, a forward for the Brazilian national team who plays for Orlando Pride, is intensely living each moment leading up to Brazil’s debut in the Olympic soccer tournament – against Nigeria on the 25th in Bordeaux. Strong in her movements and speed, she is confident about the team’s success in the Games.
For Adriana, the competition will be defined “in the details,” given the balance among the teams in the Olympics. This extends to the group stage, where Brazil is in Group C alongside Nigeria, Japan, and Spain.

“A detail from a set piece, for example, whether it’s to score a goal or to prevent the opposing team from scoring. Therefore, we must pay as much attention as possible not only in games but also in our daily training,” the forward warns.
The player enjoyed the preparation phase in Teresópolis (RJ) and arrived in Bordeaux excited to continue the work. She anticipates a very tough match against Nigeria. However, she remains optimistic.
