AC Milan are said to be disenchanted with both Dida’s form and fitness, and the Brazilian’s continuance beyond the summer is in serious doubt.
He is said to have offers from clubs in England and Germany on his table, and wants to continue plying his trade in Europe.
“I will not return to play here,” he said from Brazil, where he is on vacation. “I do not know anything about my future, but if I do not renew my contract with Milan, I will play on with another European club.”
Milan believe the Brazilian is past his best, and have already started looking for replacements as they try to actively bring down their squad’s average age.
