Carlos Henrique looks set to leave Bordeaux and return to former club Flamengo.
Henrique is part-owned by Flamengo and reports in France claim the Brazilian side may decide to bring him home. He has featured in only seven games this term.
Henrique was the subject of an offer from a top European club over the summer but remained with Bordeaux.
However, his future at the Stade Chaban-Delmas remains uncertain and Flamengo are thought to be looking into their options.
