Ronaldo has suffered a recurrence of his calf injury and had to be taken off during his Real Madrids 0-0 draw with Villarreal on Sunday.
“I felt a pain in my right calf and it got tighter and tighter and I had to leave the pitch,” he told the press after the match.
“I think it is the same injury as before but I will undergo some tests tomorrow to see how bad it is.”
Ronaldo lasted just 34 minutes before being replaced by compatriot Cicinho in his La Liga debut.
