Gabon’s national coach Jairzinho was dismissed by the Gabonnaise Football Federation following the defeat against Angola at the beginning of September.
Gabon are currently in fourth place in their group, along way behind group leader Angola. Gabon have also been eliminated from the 2006 African Cup which will take place in Egypt.
