Carlos Alberto Parreira has declared how he has been surprised by the motivation of his players in the warm up to Sunday’s game against Chile.

Parreira’s men carried out an intensive training session, with much movement, attack vs defence, accompanied most of the time by beautiful play.

The national coach had decided to direct this meeting towards marking and the counter attack by using a smaller size pitch to support the intensity of the play.

The team will be:

Dida, Cafu, Lúcio, Juan and Roberto Carlos; Emerson, Zé Roberto, Kaká and Robinho; Adriano and Ronaldo.

Parreira clearly summarized the strategy adopted to face Chile Sunday evening: “Our players are the most skillful in the world ball with the foot. Several of them can decide only the fate of a meeting. But so that the machine functions, we must learn with marking the adversary well and starting effectively”
