Carlos Alberto Parreira praised 21-year-old striker Robinho as a “player for the future” after the future Madrid star scored a goal in his first full national side appearance in Hong Kong.
“Robinho is a very talented player … We think that he’ll be a very good player for the future,” Parreira told a press conference after Brazil’s 7-1 win over Hong Kong in a friendly.
Robinho played all 90 minutes, scoring on a header in the 77th minute.
“It’s good. You cannot relax in Brazilian football,” he said refering to constant flow of new talent in Brazil.
