Sevilla have snapped up Brazilian starlet Adriano Correia from Coritiba as they look to reinforce their defence for the second half of the season.
The 20-year-old left back has signed a deal with the Andalucian club until 2010, that includes a buy-out clause of €50 million.
Correia is highly rated in Brazil and played in the Copa America last year alongside two of his new team-mates, Julio Baptista and Renato.
He was also part of the Under-20 side that won the World Championships and is being groomed as Roberto Carlos’ replacement in the full squad.
