Reports emanating from the Brazilian press continue to link Brazilian midfielder Magrao with a move to Real Madrid.
New Real coach Wanderley Luxemburgo is a known admirer of the promising midfielder and is thought to be mulling over the prospect of bringing his compatriot to Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Magrao had previously looked close to agreeing a move to CSKA Moscow but had a late change of heart, possibly to do with Vagner Love’s exit.
Although Magrao does not hold an EU passport, a move to Madrid could still be finalised as Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos are set to receive dual nationality in the not too distant future – freeing up two places for a non-EU player.
