Later on, Fluminense will host Red Bull Bragantino at the Maracanã, and São Paulo will welcome Fortaleza to the Morumbi. This is how the first Matchday will be played:

In the end, there will not be an opening game in 2024
Last year, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) had announced an unprecedented inaugural match for 2024.
“For the first time in history, we will have an inaugural game of the Brazilian league. It will be a big party to celebrate the start of the championship, which is the most evenly-matched in the world”, said CBF president Ednaldo Rodrigues in a statement on November 1, 2023.

As usual, the 2024 football season in Brazil started with the state championships, which will end on April 7. A few days later, it will be time for the most exciting competition in the country.
