Flamengo and Brazil No2 goalkeeper Julio Cesar could be set for a January move to the English Premiership after his agent claimed that talks with an unnamed top-flight outfit are ongoing.
Reports in Brazil today linked Cesar with Chelsea but this would seem an unlikely destination given their two world class keepers. However with Roy Carroll set to leave Manchester Utd this would seem the more likely move.
“There has been no official offer, no pre-contracts or anything like that, but we’re negotiating with a team from England’s top division,” said agent Josias Cardoso.
