Ligue 1 is preparing to vibrate to the rhythm of samba this season, with no less than 15 Brazilian players playing in the French championship. Among them, five talents have joined the ranks of different teams during this summer transfer window.
On loan from Arsenal, the lively and technical winger Marquinhos landed to strengthen the FC Nantes attack. A weighty addition for the team led by coach Antoine Kombouaré, who are counting on Brazilian flair to boost their attacking game. In addition, the Canaries have managed to secure the services of promising midfielder Douglas Augusto from Paok Salonik, but also, more recently, midfielder Adson from Corinthians. A triple acquisition that promises to spice up the meetings of the Nantes club in Ligue 1.
Olympique de Marseille and Racing Club de Strasbourg are not left behind in the Brazilian Ligue 1 rush. The Marseille club have managed to secure the services of the talented Renan Lodi, bringing a new dimension to their defense. Additionally, Strasbourg have agreed a loan deal with Chelsea to bring promising winger Ângelo into their ranks, adding a dose of boldness to their attacking sector. But the Brazilian presence in Ligue 1 does not stop there.

A scent of Brazil in Monaco, Lille and Lyon
AS Monaco, whose sporting director himself is Brazilian, shines with the side Caio Henrique and Vanderson. A double dose of dynamism which even earned these two players a summons to the first list of the new Brazilian coach, Fernando Diniz.
The Lille squad also includes two Brazilians, namely Ismaily and Alessandro, while at Olympique Lyonnais, whose owners also hold Botafogo, leader of the Brazilian championship, led by John Textor, brought in Henrique Silva and Jeffinho. A duo that confirms the growing influence of Brazil on the French scene. The latter also arrived from Botofogo.
The other Brazilians
Finally, among the Brazilians already established in Ligue 1, Marquinhos shines as the re-elected captain of Paris Saint-Germain. In addition, full-backs Neto Borges from Clermont and Igor Silva from Lorient continue to win, while Dante remains loyal to OGC Nice.
Brazil therefore shines in the French Ligue 1, bringing a touch of creativity, flair and raw talent to the field. With sensational arrivals and established players who maintain the level, fans are promised a captivating season, rocked by the bewitching rhythms of Brazilian football.
If half of the Ligue 1 teams have at least one Brazilian native in their squad, it is anything but trivial.
