English team, Wolverhampton, contacted Flamengo with a request to recruit attacking midfielder Victor Hugo, who is 19 years old. They proposed R$107 million (US$20 million) in exchange for a 20% transfer fee share that would go to Flamengo.

Wolverhampton made this approach after selling Matheus Nunes to Manchester City. Flamengo and Victor Hugo concur that the time is not perfect for him to depart, though.
