which will be contested between two respected CONMEBOL sides aiming to end respective spells of 20+ years without a trophy.

Following their comprehensive 3-0 win vs Ecuador last time out, which featured a free-kick goal and two assists from Lionel Messi, 14-time CA winners Argentina look strong. They currently hold a record of 18 games unbeaten, while letting in just one goal in over 300+ minutes of action. It is also a good omen for them as they have never lost to an opposing side managed by Colombia boss Reinaldo Rueda (W3, D5).

Argentina have made their dominance clear so far and they have scored at least a goal before half-time in their last four outings, giving them another clear reason to believe they can win a first major trophy since 1993.

With just one win within regulation time in this Copa America edition, Colombia seem like clear outsiders. Aiming to reach a first major final since lifting this trophy in 2001, Colombia overcame underdog status to eliminate Uruguay in the quarter-finals, but their luck could run out here, as they’ve failed to progress from five of their seven CA semi-finals.

Messi the man to watch out for

With four goals and four assists to his name so far, the free-agent has already staked a claim for the player of the tournament. This might be his last major chance at an international trophy and we can expect that his motivation would be off the charts to help his side go all the way.

A potential re-union between La Pulga and Neymar in the final is on the cards and that would at least come as something enjoyable for football fans all over the world to watch.
