In an interview with Brazilian website UOL, influencer and DJ, Gabriela Cavallin made shocking allegations against Manchester United winger Antony.
She claimed that between June 2022 and May 2023, Antony attacked her multiple times, headbutting her, throwing a glass at her, and even cutting her hand to the bone during an altercation.
These allegations were supported by photographs and message screenshots.

Allegations of Violence During Pregnancy
Cavallin stated that the first attack occurred on June 1, 2022, while she was pregnant and on vacation in Brazil. Antony allegedly put her in a car, attacked her, and threatened to throw her from the moving vehicle at high speed. In her words,
“He said that if I didn’t stay with him, I wouldn’t stay with anyone. I told him that I was pregnant, that he was scaring me, making my heart race. I was shaking with fear.”
Tragically, she reported losing the baby after approximately 16 weeks of pregnancy.
The UOL report also detailed an incident on January 15, 2023, where Cavallin claimed Antony headbutted her and punched her, resulting in a dislocated breast implant. Cavallin gives more details on the incident:
“I don’t remember exactly who the fight was about, but it was someone I had been with years ago. He punched me in the chest and my silicone turned over. And then I came to Brazil for surgery. I had to change the prosthesis. He said ‘I didn’t mean to hurt you, it was accidental, it wasn’t a punch, I just pushed you, I just held you against the wall’.”
Serious physical harm and hospitalization
Cavallin described a particularly distressing incident on May 8, 2023, during which Antony locked her in their house and prevented her from leaving.
She sustained a severe injury to her finger during this altercation, and her passport was allegedly taken by Antony. She required medical attention for her injuries.
Cavallin filed a police complaint against Antony in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in June 2023. The UOL report also indicated that she filed a complaint against Antony with Greater Manchester Police.
Antony’s previous denial
Antony had previously denied the allegations made against him in late June. He wrote on Instagram:
“After submitting my statement at the police station where investigation involving my name is being conducted, I wanted to speak for the first time since I was falsely accused of assault”
He emphasized that he had remained silent to avoid interfering with the investigation process.
“I stayed silent until the moment so that nothing could interfere with the investigation process, but during all those days my family and I suffered in silence. Despite being born and raised in a very needy community, I had never been through a situation similar to this, in which a false assault charge resulted in a preliminary and unfair public judgement on the part of some”
He the expressed confidence in the justice system to prove his innocence and save him from the damage his image is currently facing.

Manchester United’s response
Manchester United declined to comment on these new accusations, referring only to Antony’s earlier denial in June. Antony has continued to play for the team, most recently in a match against Arsenal.
