After several months of uncertainty, the Brazilian team managed to clear up doubts by starting the South American Qualifiers on the right foot. In Fernando Diniz’s first two games as coach, the Selecao beat Bolivia (5-1) and Peru (1-0) to begin building the path to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Brazil will return to action in October, when it faces Venezuela and Uruguay in the continuity of the Qualifiers. First they will receive Vinotinto on October 12 in Brasilia. Five days later, they will visit Montevideo to play against Celeste at the Centenario Stadium.
The Amarelinha will have two other commitments to qualify for the 2026 World Cup before closing the year, when they have to face Colombia and Argentina on the FIFA date in November.
