The Women’s National Team continued its preparation for their debut in the World Cup. The activity took place this Saturday morning (15) at the Royal Pines field, in Gold Coast (AUS).
Coach Pia Sundhage allowed the press to follow the warm-up for 20 minutes and then closed the activity. The Swede commanded a collective of 11 x 11 for technical and tactical adjustments of the team. With 9 days left for her World Cup debut, defender Rafaelle celebrates the group’s commitment and dedication.

“Training is very intense, the girls are responding very well. Like Pia, we are focusing a little more on the physical part, now we are going to get into the more technical and tactical part. Physically, everyone gave themselves a lot these days,” he said.
The Brazilian National Team leaves Gold Coast on Tuesday (18) for Brisbane for the final stretch of the Women’s World Cup. For the first time at the World Cup, the teams will have a fixed headquarters in the first phase of the competition. The delegation will be concentrated at the Best Western North Lakes Hotel and will train at the Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex.
