Brazilian Football Federation president Ednaldo Rodrigues announced on Wednesday that Ancelotti will take the reins of the Seleção from the 2024 Copa America. According to Thursday’s print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Kaká could join Ancelotti in a year as a member of the technical staff.
Rodrigues reportedly had talks with former Ballon d’Or winner Kaká, as well as famed Brazilian footballer Cafu during their talks with Ancelotti. The talks have reportedly been positive and it is envisaged that Kaká will join his former coach in 2024.

Currently linked to Real Madrid until June 2024, Ancelotti would therefore join the Brazilian national team after the end of his contract in the Spanish capital. In the meantime, Fernando Diniz will act as interim coach of the Brazilian selection.
