Lucas Paquetá is still under investigation by the FA for alleged involvement in irregularities involving sports betting. On his return to the Brazilian national team after the accusation and while awaiting the final decision, the midfielder claimed he is cooperating with the investigation.
“Actually, I was instructed not to comment on this matter, but it’s been seven months since it happened, and I’ve been cooperating to the fullest,” said the West Ham star.

“I am very happy. I worked with Professor Dorival in my final stage at Flamengo, it was an incredible experience. I am pleased with the call-up, it is a recognition of my work. Being in the Seleção has always been my dream, every child’s dream. On returning, I feel even more privileged,” Paquetá said.
“These are moments that happen, I have been doing my job well at my club, I have been enjoying myself. I try not to let anything affect me on the field. I continue to be happy, doing my job. I hope to continue like this.”
Brazil will face England on Saturday (23) at Wembley before they visit Spain in Madrid on Tuesday (26).
