Luana celebrates Brazil’s performance in debut and warns about France

Brazil’s 4-0 victory against Panama was important to show what the team wants in the World Cup. Ary Borges had an spectacular match, but now the focus is already on their next opponent, which is France, the strongest adversary in the group.

“We know that France are very strong opponents. They play a lot in transition, they are strong and very intense. We’re going to study well, prepare well and I’m sure Pia (Sundhage) will come with the best tactics possible,” said Luana.

She was responsible for many defensive stops in the match. Brazil had the ball most of the time, while Panama was hardly able to cause any danger to goalkeeper Letícia. Most of it is possible due to Luana’s importance in the midfield.
