The Brazilian national team squad for the upcoming September international break features several new faces, including Palmeiras gem Estêvão, who has the chance to join an exclusive group of players who made their debut for the Seleção before turning 18.

The promising midfielder will be 17 years and 35 days old when Brazil face Ecuador in Curitiba on Friday (6th), and 17 years and 39 days old when the Seleção play against Paraguay in Asunción on Tuesday (10th).

If he takes the field in either match, the future Chelsea player will become the third youngest footballer to play for Brazil, only behind Edu and Pelé. He would surpass Endrick, who earned his first cap against Argentina in November 2023, and the legendary Ronaldo Nazário.
