It’s been months since Tite resigned to his post at the national team, yet Brazil still haven’t appointed a new manager. The Brazilian FA (CBF) has been keen on hiring Carlo Ancelotti, who is under contract with Real Madrid until 2024.
Though the Italian has constantly denied the possibility of leaving Spain for the Brazil job, the Brazilian governing body doesn’t give up hope. In fact, CBF president Ednaldo Rodrigues has recently insisted their intention is to convince Carletto in every possible way.

CBF puts pressure on Florentino Perez
Brazil and Spain have scheduled an international friendly for March 2024 as part of an anti-racism campaign under the slogan ‘One skin.’ In a joint press conference with his Spanish counterpart Luis Rubiales, Rodrigues addressed the importance of tackling racism but he also took time to talk about Ancelotti.
“He is one of the world’s best managers so he could coach Brazil, one of the world’s best national teams. I told Luis Rubiales, who is Florentino Perez (Real Madrid president) friend, to ask him to let Ancelotti go,” Rodrigues joked. However, Brazil’s interest seems to be real, even after Ancelotti turned them down. Ramon Menezes is currently in charge on an interim basis, but the CBF is expected to name a permanent coach before the World Cup qualifiers start in September.
