The Brazilian national team left much to be desired in the 2024 Copa America, where they were eliminated in the quarter-finals after losing to Uruguay in a penalty shootout. The pain from this result is still too recent to think about what’s next, but the Selecao will have to return to the field soon.

Although Brazil will not play again until September, it is expected that Dorival Júnior will announce the squad for the next FIFA date at the beginning of August. Thus, the squad announcement will come just a month after the Copa America elimination.

  • September – Paraguay (away)
