This Thursday (13), the Brazilian National Team will make the last test before their debut in the World Cup. Brazil will face China in a training game at the Royal Pines field, on the Gold Coast (AUS). The match will take place at 12:00 (local time), behind closed doors, and will be played over three halves of 30 minutes.
In this Wednesday’s activity (12), coach Pia Sundhage adjusted the last details before the duel with an 11 x 11, designing the starting lineup in the match, and also offensive and defensive set pieces.
With 12 days to go before the debut in the World Cup, goalkeeper Letícia Izidoro highlighted that this is another important opportunity to test the team before the duel against Panama, on July 24th.

“It’s important for us to also be able to assess how our tactical part is doing, how the team is evolving and what we will need to improve before the debut in the World Cup. It will be more important in terms of adjustment for our debut in the World Cup” , commented Letícia, who also spoke about the opportunity to face an Asian team in preparation for the World Cup.
“Even being a team that we will not face in the first phase of the World Cup, it will generate a certain discomfort and difficulty, where we will see what is really ready for the World Cup and what we need to improve.
