Lázaro Vinícius Marques, commonly known as Lázaro, plays forward for Palmeiras in Brazil’s Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. Born in Belo Horizonte on March 12, 2002, he started at Flamengo’s youth setup before stepping up to professional football.

Career Start at Flamengo
Lázaro started his senior career with Flamengo in 2020, scoring 9 goals in 62 games. This performance led to a move to Almería in Spain for €7 million in 2022, with Flamengo keeping a 30% future transfer share.

Lázaro also made a mark internationally, playing for Brazil’s U17 team and winning the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2019. In 2024, he joined Palmeiras on loan, quickly making an impact with key goals, and helping the team clinch the Campeonato Paulista title.
