West Ham wants to sign Brazil’s Andre, who plays for Fluminense. They made an offer just like Liverpool did. But the main reason they want André is because their plans to get Yuri Alberto from Corinthians didn’t work out.
Naldo Rodrigues, who used to play for West Ham, is in Brazil talking to Andre about the deal. The club is willing to wait until January for him to join their team.

Who is André?
André played for Brazil earlier this year and has played 25 games for Fluminense this season, scoring one goal.
He has received seven yellow cards in his 16 league games this season, which shows he’s a tough player.
If West Ham can sign Andre before Liverpool, it would be a big achievement for the club.
