During this period, his mother faced unemployment and homelessness, forcing Endrick and his siblings into an orphanage in São Paulo. The family later found stability when both parents secured jobs at a cafe, and his father became a janitor at Palmeiras.

Early beginnings

Endrick started playing football at four. His father posted his football videos on YouTube to capture the attention of major Brazilian clubs. Facing hardship early on, Endrick committed to becoming a professional footballer to support his family.

He joined Palmeiras’ youth team at 11 and impressed with 165 goals in 169 games. His performance at the 2022 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, where he scored eight goals and won Player of the Tournament, caught international media attention.

Endrick made his senior debut for Palmeiras on October 6, 2022, becoming the youngest player to appear for the team. He quickly made history again as the second youngest goalscorer in Brazil’s Série A. Endrick helped Palmeiras win two consecutive league titles in 2022 and 2023, earning the title of the most promising player in the Série A for 2022.

Move to Real Madrid

On December 2022, Real Madrid announced an agreement to sign Endrick when he turns 18 in July 2024. The deal, reportedly worth up to €72 million, showcases his status as one of Brazil’s most promising talents.

Playing style

A left-footed forward known for his exceptional shot and relentless work ethic, Endrick has drawn comparisons with Brazilian legends like Ronaldo, Pelé, and Romário. He idolizes Cristiano Ronaldo and emphasizes never giving up, pressuring defenders, and outworking everyone on the pitch.
