Real Madrid presented its home kit for next season, with Vinicius at the helm in one of the promotional images uploaded to the club’s social network. It will be the first shirt that Mbappé, recently officially announced, will wear, although the sale with his name and number will have to wait for now.

“It is a minimalist design in which the white color incorporates a personalized houndstooth pattern with the initials RM. The details of the kit are in black, such as the sponsor, the Adidas logo, the shoulder stripes and the V-neck line,” the institution said in a statement.

“The shirt, with this clean design, refers to the DNA of Real Madrid,” added the team that has just won its 15th Champions League and had a dream season.

While the Madrid fans continued celebrating, Mbappé’s move for five seasons became official. Although t-shirts with his name have already appeared, the truth is that the official sale will have to wait until next July 1, when he stops being a PSG player and signs the contract with the White House.

Regarding his number, everything indicates that he will use the 9 that Karim Benzema left vacant when he went to Saudi Arabia. At least until he is free in number 10, which continues to belong to Luka Modric, with the expectation that the Croatian will sign the extension of his contract for one more season.

The uniform presented will also be the first worn by Endrick, the young Brazilian who will join the squad once the 2024 Copa América ends. The number that the former Palmeiras player will wear has not yet been made official, although Spanish media indicate that it will most likely be the 16.

Remembering Zagallo
