The summer transfer window is drawing ever closer and FC Barcelona are looking to secure two or three more transfers to sign new signings and, perhaps, sign a few more players to bolster Hansi Flick’s squad.
This will depend on Barça’s ability to make room in its tight wage bill, which is why the club is actively working on finding a place for Vitor Roque, a player who is seriously sought after by Sporting CP and Real Betis, clubs that are reportedly in very advanced negotiations to finalize his arrival, but both under very different conditions.

Tigrinho’s decision: Loan to Betis or sale to Sporting CP
According to reports in the Catalan press, Real Betis are willing to offer a simple loan for Vitor Roque, but they do not rule out the possibility of negotiating to include some sort of agreement that would allow the Betis to acquire a percentage of the Brazilian’s transfer.
Real Betis have reportedly sent an expedition to Barcelona made up of three directors to try to convince both the club and the player himself and, according to reports from media outlets such as Mundo Deportivo and other sources, Vitor has shown a strong preference for the possibility of joining the Benito Villamarín.

In contrast, Sporting CP’s offer would be the one that would convince FC Barcelona the most, as the Catalan club is more than willing to sell Vitor Roque for a figure similar to the fixed amount that the club will have to pay Athletico Paranaense for the transfer of Vitor Roque, around 30 million euros.
Sporting would be willing to put on the table a figure very similar to what they would ask Barça, including variables and a fixed amount that would be convincing, but Roque would not see this option as entirely clear.
Mundo Deportivo claims that Betis have managed to convince Vitor Roque thanks to the sporting project they have put on the table. The Seville team would offer him a starting position, importance and the possibility of returning to Barça in the near future to have his revenge, but the final say will be up to the Barça sporting management, who continue to prioritise a sale.
