The top of the table was practically sentenced, with a Palmeiras team that has everything ready to claim champion on the next and last date of the Brasileirao. But at the bottom, the definition is more exciting, with three teams that will try to avoid the last relegation that remains to be established.

The most complicated is Bahia, which has 41 points and today would be the last club to go to Series B. The team had everything to reach the next matchday with more oxygen, but life was complicated by losing 3-2 in home of the bottom team, América Mineiro, one of the three teams already relegated along with Coritiba and Goiás.

That defeat gives a break to Vasco de Gama, which with 42 units is in sixteenth place, for now saving itself from losing the category. Those led by Ramón Díaz fell 1-0 against Gremio with a goal from Uruguayan Luis Suárez, but the good news for them is that they continue to depend on themselves to stay in the highest division of Brazilian football.

The other team that has a chance of relegation is Santos, which was defeated 3-0 by Atlético Paranaense. The club from which stars like Pelé and Neymar emerged has 43 points and remains in fifteenth position.

Meanwhile, the one that is already celebrating having achieved salvation is Cruzeiro. The Belo Horizonte club drew goalless against Botafogo, which thus continued its free fall, and rescued a point that already left it outside of any mathematical possibility of entering the red zone.

This is how the last relegation of the Brasileirao will be defined

  • Bahia-Atlético de Mineiro
  • Vasco da Gama-Bragantino
  • Santos-Fortaleza

All matches will be played simultaneously on December 6 starting at 9:30 p.m. (Brasília time).
