Botafogo drew 2-2 in their visit to São Paulo and are now the sole leaders of the Brasileirão after the 19th round. Lucas Moura and Ferrerinha scored for the home team, while Tiquinho Soares and Cuiabano did so for Artur Jorge’s team.
Those goals made Fogão the first team to score in every game of the first round of the Brazilian league since it has been in its current format. With the two goals at Morumbi, the team reached 31 conquests in the tournament.

Flamengo are still the top scorers, and if they win their remaining match they can also take first place. Criciúma also scored in all 17 matches it played in the current edition of the Brasileirão, the ge site noted. However, the team from Santa Catarina still has two matches left in the first round to equal Botafogo’s record.
Despite the great scoring streak and the leadership, the supporters of the team from Rio have already learned that they should not celebrate too soon. Last season they were leaders for 31 games and had a lead of 13 points over the runner-up, but in an unusual decline in the final stretch they ended up in fifth place.
