Luiz Felipe Scolari, who led Brazil to World Cup glory in 2002, insists that Rodrygo should stay at Real Madrid despite the arrival of stars like Kylian Mbappe and Endrick. “Rodrygo doesn’t need to leave; he needs to adapt,” Scolari stated in a Winwin interview.

Since joining from Santos in 2019, Rodrygo has faced rumors of leaving, especially after praising Manchester City. Yet, Scolari believes staying and adapting is the best path.

Carlo Ancelotti, Madrid’s coach, is adept at managing a roster brimming with talent. Scolari trusts Ancelotti to blend established players with new signings effectively.

Currently with the Brazilian national team, Rodrygo aims to impress in Neymar’s absence, wearing the iconic number 10 jersey. Neymar recently backed his teammate Vinicius Jr. for the Ballon d’Or, a view Scolari shares.

He notes that Vinicius’s Champions League performance and a potential Copa America win could clinch it. “If it were up to me, the Ballon d’Or would go to Vinicius,” Scolari said.
