Real Madrid started the 2024/25 season in a somewhat bittersweet way. Despite having won convincingly in the European Super Cup final against Atalanta, the league debut did not have a happy ending for Carlo Ancelotti’s team. With a solitary goal from Rodrygo and another from Muriqi for RCD Mallorca, the match ended with a disappointing 1-1 in which Real Madrid looked lethargic and vulnerable.
After the match, Rodrygo Goes, through his official WhatsApp channel, sent a message to his fans, taking the opportunity to send a strong message to the press and to the fans who have tried to keep him out of the spotlight after the arrival of Mbappé.

Rodrygo Goes’ deleted message
On his broadcast channel, Rodrygo sent a message, now deleted, in which he analysed the team’s disappointing performance in the recent draw at Son Moix against RCD Mallorca and, despite celebrating his goal, Rodrygo wanted to take advantage of the situation to vindicate himself after the criticism and comments he has received, both from fans and from the press, who place him outside of Real Madrid’s offensive plot to give more relevance to the trio made up of Bellingham, Mbappé and Vini, the BMV, according to the press.

The message was confirmed by various media, including the prestigious media The Athletic , so the following words, in principle, would have been written by hand by Rodrygo himself:
“Hi guys. Yesterday’s result wasn’t what I wanted. In La Liga, any point makes the difference in the end. I’m happy with the goal and the team’s growth. Last week there was talk about the trio of Bellingham, Mbappé and Vini, but to that we should add Rodrygo’s R. We have an attacking quartet and the rest of the team. Each one is important in the games and will show their worth in the different competitions we are going to play. It’s going to be a busy week until the next game, at the Bernabéu,” Rodrygo wrote.
In principle, these words from Rodrygo would be a criticism of Diario Marca , a media outlet that featured a regrettable post-European Super Cup final cover in which the Brazilian footballer was deliberately cut out of a photo in which Mbappé, Vini, Bellingham and him appeared, and where you can clearly see his arm holding the trophy.

On the cover, the focus is exclusively on the BMV, an offensive trio made up of Bellingham, Mbappé and Vini, leaving out Rodrygo, who with his goal in Mallorca wanted to make his presence felt, silencing his critics with a message that was possibly deleted on the club’s recommendation to avoid controversy.
For Rodrygo, the BMV does not exist, since Real Madrid would have an offensive quartet in which he will also be important.
RMBV? VBMR? What should be the name of this quartet that aims to dominate the European scene in the next five years?
