Another Brazilian on the list is Arsenal’s defender, Gabriel Magalhaes. Gabriel has become one of the top scoring defenders across Europe’s major leagues, like England, Germany, Italy, France, and Spain, with 12 goals. Since he started playing for Arsenal in 2020, he’s been outstanding, making him a favorite among Arsenal fans. Impressively, he’s scored more goals than any other defender in the Premier League during this time, reaching a total of 12 league goals.
However, the competition for the award appears stiff. Nominated alongside these Brazilian players are are Elijah Adebayo from Luton, Connor Bradley and Diogo Jota from Liverpool, and Kevin de Bruyne from Manchester City, all of whom boast impressive statistics.
