According to information from journalist Joaquim Piera from Diario Sport , Real Madrid would have already made the decision to get rid of Vinicius Jr. if the arrival of Mbappé is confirmed. This, not only for sporting reasons, but also for marketing, image and the values that Real Madrid expects from a star of this magnitude.

Piera explains that at Real Madrid it is not clear that Vinicius has the profile for a “number one” and that is why they would bet on Mbappé, who plays on the same wing as Vinicius, prefers to use the number “7” that currently belongs to the Brazilian and that, if it arrives, it would aim to be the offensive reference that Vini has become today.
“Vinicius feels untouchable, perhaps because he is convinced that he personifies the quintessence of the true values of Real Madrid. However, he has an expiration date at the new Bernabéu.” The aforementioned journalist writes in his column.
