Google released its 2023 statistics in different categories and in terms of sports clubs, Al Hilal was the most searched in Brazil and is in seventh place globally. The arrival of the star Neymar gave worldwide fame to the Saudi Arabia team, which has other important names such as Koulibaly, Milinkovic-Savic, Rúben Neves, Malcom, Michael and Mitrovic.

After the team led by the Portuguese Jorge Jesús, former coach of Flamengo, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr and Manchester City, winner of this year’s Champions League and Premier League, appear as the most sought after in Brazil. Regarding searches around the world, the ranking in sports clubs is headed by Inter Miami, which is experiencing a revolution since the arrival of Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba. The NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers, Al Nassr, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund are part of the top 10.

Mbappé, Beckham and Dani Alves also took over Google

Kylian Mbappé ranked fourth among the most searched personalities on the portal globally, in a year full of rumors about a possible departure from Paris Saint-Germain. In ninth position is David Beckham, the former English star who remains in the spotlight as president of Inter Miami.

Within Brazil, the only personality linked to football that appears in the ranking is Dani Alves, although the reason why he is the center of interest is far from the playing fields: the former FC Barcelona full-back is in preventive detention and prosecuted for a rape allegation that was recently brought to trial.
