Italian striker Sebastian Giovinco, currently playing for Toronto FC, was asked who he considered the best playmaker of his generation. His answer was unequivocal: for him, it is the Brazilian Neymar who deserves this distinction.
When asked to choose between Ronaldinho and Neymar, Giovinco chose Neymar. The same was true when he had to pit Neymar against Andrés Iniesta, another football legend. Against David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne or Guti, Giovinco always chose the Al-Hilal star. Even against players of the calibre of James Rodríguez, Thomas Müller, Juan Román Riquelme or Wesley Sneijder, it was Neymar that Giovinco placed above.

For the Italian, Neymar combines individual technical perfection, vision of the game and the ability to create and score goals. Since his debut with Santos, the Brazilian has impressed with his technical quality and his virtuosity with the ball at his feet. Very skilled in small spaces, he regularly manages to get out of the most complicated situations thanks to his liveliness and dexterity.
Under the FC Barcelona and then PSG jersey, Neymar has proven to be decisive in major matches. Through his assists and goals, he has largely contributed to the success of these two clubs. His international class is no longer in doubt after several very good performances with Brazil.
