It was a very hard season for Éder Militão. Beyond the successes of Real Madrid, on the way to winning LaLiga and in search of a new Champions League final, on an individual level the Brazilian saw it from the outside due to a severe injury that left him out of the playing field for 232 days.
That entire journey, from the knee injury he suffered on the first day of the Spanish championship to the happy ending with his return on March 31, is the center of a new documentary produced by the club. Under the title “Militão: Coming back stronger”, the film goes into the intimacy of the effort made for his recovery and the fundamental support of his colleagues.

As it has rarely been seen, the documentary shows the day-to-day work after the surgery, with the efforts made by the person who emerged in São Paulo to get ready. From the mandatory use of crutches to working in the gym, in the pool and in the training center to recover.
Nacho, Lucas Vázquez and Dani Ceballos are some of the teammates who appear in the film, which premieres today at 3:05 p.m. (Brasília time) on Real Madrid’s institutional channels. You can also hear Thibaut Courtois, a very special testimony, since he also tore the cruciate ligaments in his knee and trained at the same time to also return to the playing fields, which will happen on the next LaLiga match against Cadiz.
Remembering Zagallo
Sambafoot Series launched a new documentary about the football legend Zagallo. Known as ‘Velho Lobo‘ and as superstitious as it gets, Zagallo helped shape what Brazilian football is nowadays — as a player and as a coach.
