Eager to make a significant impact at Swansea City, Ronald envisions himself bringing “moments of happiness” and robust support to his teammates. He describes himself as a fast, one-on-one expert winger who loves scoring and assisting. His playstyle is aggressive, focusing on high-field attacks, with an aim to challenge and outmaneuver his opponents. He shares further,

 “I am very motivated and excited to try and provide moments of happiness for the fans of Swansea. It has been a dream of mine to play football in the UK. I have achieved that goal and objective and now I want to help the team achieve good things.”

Impressed by the structure and facilities at Swansea City, Ronald feels prepared to dive into the Championship challenge, thanks to his developmental stint in Portugal. “The structure of the club is very impressive, I have never been at a club like this, in Brazil or Portugal,” he remarks, acknowledging the club’s confidence in him.

His readiness is palpable, as he reflects on his growth in Portugal,

“I feel ready. I grew up as a man and as a player during my 18 months in Portugal, so I am more mature and prepared for the higher level that the Championship is.”

The club is committed to supporting Ronald in his transition, and Williams is confident in the fans’ ability to help him settle, citing their welcoming nature which he has experienced firsthand. His transfer, still awaiting international and visa approvals, includes a contract extending until 2027, with a potential additional year.

Ronald will be seen sporting the number 35 jersey for the Swans. He brings with him the experience of playing in Portugal with Estrela da Amadora, where his impressive performance over 18 months played a crucial role in their ascent to the top league, marked by his 17 appearances this season.
