According to Sky Sports, this time, the Red Devils are said to be closely interested in Brazilian Vanderson, currently at AS Monaco. With the possibility of parting ways with right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the Spanish daily indicates that Manchester United are exploring several options to replace him.
For his part, Vanderson, 23, is under contract with AS Monaco until 2028. The decision to sell the player will depend on the Monaco management, who could be demanding on the transfer price.
Growing interest from English clubs
While Tottenham had already shown an interest in Vanderson last June, it is now Manchester United who seem in pole position to acquire the right-back.
The information, reported by Sky Sports on Monday, places Vanderson as a serious alternative in the event of Wan-Bissaka’s departure.
Besides Vanderson, Manchester United are also said to be keeping tabs on Jeremie Frimpong.
