Brazilian midfielder Joelinton looks set to extend his contract with Newcastle United. Aged 27, Joelinton is currently linked to the Magpies until June 2025, but according to information from Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, a contract extension should be formalized soon.

Joelinton has been playing for Newcastle since the summer of 2019, when the English club recruited him from German club Hoffenheim for a record fee for Newcastle at the time of 40 million euros. Since then, the Brazilian has established himself as an indispensable element of the Magpies’ starting eleven, with whom he has already played 180 matches in all competitions.
