Giovanna Costi, the wife of Fluminense midfielder Paulo Henrique Ganso, has criticized Erling Haaland’s attitude during a meeting with children of the Brazilian club’s players in Saudi Arabia. She reacted on social networks after the Norwegian Manchester City player refused to take photos with the children.
According to her, there were six children present at a shopping center in Jeddah, where the Club World Cup is taking place. Yet Haaland didn’t even greet the children and pretended they didn’t exist. A “horrible” behavior according to her, which greatly disappointed her own son Henrico, a big fan of the Norwegian.

Although he was in Saudi Arabia with Manchester City for the competition, Haaland was injured and was not included on the scoresheet for the final against Fluminense. His behavior could have been different if he had shown more empathy towards the young Brazilian fans present.
