Flamengo recently said no to a €20 million offer from Nottingham Forest for their star striker Pedro, even though the deal could have climbed to €25 million with extra bonuses.
Nottingham Forest’s bid just didn’t cut it for Flamengo, especially when Pedro is essential to their campaigns in the Brasileirão, CONMEBOL Libertadores, and Copa do Brasil.

This season, Pedro has been on fire, scoring 29 goals and setting up 8 in just 42 games. Right now, he’s out with an injury from a game on August 15 but should be back this Sunday against Corinthians in the Brasileirão.
Pedro’s not going anywhere soon, with a contract until December 2027 and a massive €100 million release clause for clubs outside Brazil. Flamengo clearly sees him as a key player not just for now, but for the future as they chase multiple trophies.
