Fernandinho earnestly implored individuals in Recife and the Metropolitan Region to come forward with any information, urging them to reach out to the local police. The message read,
“Good morning. I send this message specifically to the people of Recife and Jaboatão dos Guararapes. My grandfather, Benedito Machado, has Alzheimer’s and has been missing since yesterday morning. If anyone has seen him, please contact the local police. Thank you very much since now”
But thursday night brought relief as Fernandinho joyously informed the public about his grandfather’s discovery, expressing deep gratitude to those who rallied behind him.
