Endrick, the rising Brazilian star, is set to join Real Madrid from Palmeiras in July, coinciding with his 18th birthday. He looks up to Cristiano Ronaldo and is prepared to face the high expectations at the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, he expresses his desire to forge his own identity, stating, “I want to be Endrick and for me what is said does not matter to me.” He acknowledges the pressure but embraces it, aiming to be a source of inspiration and support for his family and young aspirants.

During a recent visit to Madrid, Endrick met new teammates, including Jude Bellingham, and his future coach, Carlo Ancelotti. He will continue playing for Palmeiras until his transition to Madrid, where he’ll join fellow Brazilians Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo.

Reflecting on his national team debut, he shares the excitement of his call-up: “With the senior team, it was very important, a moment I didn’t expect… I was waiting for the pre-Olympic team and my father sent me the photo.” He remains hopeful about future opportunities with Brazil, eyeing matches against England and Spain.

As Brazil’s U23 team gears up for the Olympic qualifiers, Endrick feels confident in their chances. Despite being young and compared to soccer greats, he remains focused on his unique path and coping with the pressure. “There are things that happen and there are people who talk and say, it’s the new Pelé, the new Ronaldo. I want to be Endrick and for me what is talked about I don’t care.” he explains.

Endrick dreams of the Olympics but is also considering the Copa America. His focus, for now, is on the upcoming Pre-Olympic tournament. He states, “If I have the strength and capacity to be there, I’m not thinking about the Games for now.” His participation in the Olympics hinges on his Copa America involvement.
