The idea of bringing Pedro Raul to Corinthians has been in discussion since early this year. His potential acquisition has received the green light from both Cifut, the club’s analysis department, and the technical committee led by experienced coach Mano Menezes.

However, Pedro Raul’s move to Mexican football came with a substantial price tag; he was transferred from Vasco, another Brazilian team, to Toluca for a hefty sum of US$5 million (approximately R$24 million) back in July 2023. If Corinthians successfully signs him, Pedro Raul will serve as a strategic alternative to Yuri Alberto, who currently holds the position of Corinthians’ primary forward.

Pedro Raul’s playing style is highly regarded. He’s known for his robust ability to hold the ball, effectively compete against defenders in physical duels, and excel in aerial confrontations, adding a unique dynamic to Corinthians’ current squad.
